On the Sill Chinese Money Plant - pilea peperomioides

This plant is native to the Yunnan Province of China. As legend has it a Norwegian missionary brought the plant back from China & shared cutting with friends.



LIGHT- Bright indirect light but not direct sun. This plant can tolerate some shade as

well.


WATER- Water every 1-2 weeks. Allow the top 2" soil to dry between watering. If the leaves start to look droopy thats a good sign it's fine to water



PRUNING - These plants benefit from pinching. It helps keep the desired shape & promotes growth. From propagation this plant produces baby pilea's that you remove from the mother plant. You can then put it in water or straight into soil & watch it grow!


TOXICITY - Non-Toxic
